Experienced photojournalist Tony Mills began his career as a cub reporter at the Rhodesian Herald before photographing conflicts as a member of the British army. His skilled involvement in wildlife and marine photography saw him team up with, and meet, the best of the world's visual artists, including Hans Hass and National Geographic units in East Africa. On his emigration to South Africa, he specialised as a commercial photographer and illustrator for ad agencies before branching into art directorship for a print company. Following a brief spell as an art teacher, he expanded into sales and marketing before launching his freelance career, which encompasses photography, journalism and copywriting.
